Penguin Boy
The following is comicatisation (it's a word, I think) of a joke by the very talented comedian friend of mine Alasdair Tremblay-Birchall. We performed together in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in a show called PANTS (pants). Al's joke was one of the funniest parts of the show, unfortunately we lacked the cash and surgical know how to fully realise his artistic vision. Until now.

Warlock Cover

I picked up a copy of WARLOCK 1# on holiday at a book exchange in Darwin along with a stack of smudgy horror reprints some time ago. [My holiday wasn't strictly confined to the book exchange, but I did spend some time there]. I thought it would be great as the subject of a submission to one of the coolest cultural institutions on gods green internets 'covered'. You can check it out and see if you can spot the difference between my version and the original here.

The man who lost his mind
This post is a little delayed, things and people beyond my control have made it a bit difficult to get any work done. Also I kept adding things to the strip. But it's up now and there should be another page next week. You can check it out here.

The man who lost his mind Page 2
New page of 'The man who lost his mind'. It's all fairly introductory and atmospheric so far but rest assured non stop action and daring intrigue are just around the corner for our as yet un-named protagonist. See it here.
Also here is a drawing of Matt Preston. Enjoy.

Internets, I have returned [maybe]

Its been a while since my last post, lets see if I can pick up the pace from here on in. So what better way to start than with my submission to issue 9 of tango: love and war. Tango's a great little aussie comics anthology that always runs with the theme of love and... something.

Back on track...maybe
Ok the plan is to post about once a day, I can do that right?
This is a comic my friend Jan and I wrote a couple of months ago.
I'll get around to publishing it and giving it a cover one of these days
Enjoy the incredible adventures of Ugly Boy!
